How much should I stake on each bet?
For each bet, Mr X will give a recommended stake, in points (pts).
The Bet Bank Alerts points system goes from 1 to 10 points, with 1 (or a fraction of 1) being the smallest bet and 10 being the biggest.
As a guide, 1 pt is a common, 'normal' stake.
The points system is used so you can decide how much to stake on a particular bet, based on what the value of '1 point' is to you.
For example, if you bet at £10 per point, then your stake for a 1-point bet would be £10. Your stake for a 2-point bet would be £20, and so on.
I'm new to betting, how much should I bet per point?
We always advise starting with low stakes, or even 'paper trading' (following the results but not betting for money) during your Free Trial when you first join Bet Bank Alerts. This way you can see for yourself how the bets are doing.
Some members bet at £10 per point, some bet at £100 per point and more.
We always recommend that you follow the points system. This is designed to maximise winnings and to minimise losses.
Any profits figures we quote will be based on following the points system.
You should never bet more than you can afford to lose.
