Big Brother returned to our TV screens last week – and the bookies are expecting their highest turnover on the show since its heyday a decade ago...

The reality TV show has a new home on Channel Five, and will run throughout the rest of the summer with Celebrity Big Brother followed by a full Big Brother series featuring members of the public.

William Hill expect millions to be bet on the Big Brother shows industry wide this summer, with the relaunch on Channel Five attracting plenty of media attention.

The new Celebrity Big Brother series kicked off last Thursday night with 10 contestants entering the house (11 if you count ‘Jedward’ as two people!).

After the opening weekend in the house, XFactor pop stars Jedward have been cut from 3/1 (4.00) favourites to as short as 7/4 (2.75) to win.
